Roamwild Mega PestOff Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder 3.0 For Mixed Seed/Sunflower Hearts

Great quality product it seems promising (no birds yet after generic one had lots of birds but pest problems) . Give 4 out of 5 stars as the split ring seal maybe seems a afterthought as the split is a gap for water. Should be some material of a rubber/silicone long lasting seal that does not break down over time, it could be prefitted on the cone seed tube with a groove (you already cut the tube for the bar hanger at the top). The second weak point is the bar hanger hole at the top, even though water can blow upwards in wind that should have a seal there around the rod. Or alternatively have the hole higher and the hanging rod bend up inside and go through. Best still if the cylinder was moulded with some external rod/pins that means no hole/gap for water over engineered to withstand more then fully filled birdfeeder without being a weak point, it can be done with reinforced plastic shaping but should be concealed under the top metal cover for clean design aesthetics. These 2 weak points I HIGHLY recommend to fix/update (test spraying with hose water every angle to make it waterproof except bird feeder holes as to simulate rain in all directions) this in the design, a 4 feeder port maybe could be an alternative design. Haven't had any birds suprisingly yet to test the rest of the design, maybe the flower catches maybe foreign and scary to birds, or they get used to in time. I'm sure we could work this out for a better next design, there maybe more tweeks too like longer hanger metal so lid can be lifted more to refill (my tree gets in the way, but have bird feed scoop as workaround). Would love to hear from Roamwild and fix these and maybe more design weak points 😜

Excellent product.. I have the seed feeders in all sizes and all are the best on the market BUT , yes a but that loses a star. The tiny plastic baffle rings do not last. They become brittle and breakdown very quickly. Unfortunate as this is an important part. When it goes it lets damp into the chamber and the feeder clogs badly. £3.99 to replace it is pricey but then add £4.99 delivery then not on. They did once send me some new ones free of charge but only as I was adding another feeder to my collection. My remedy, a good wrapping of waterproof stretch electrical tape does the trick. Easy to remove and replace when cleaning. Great product but please sort this issue.

Perfect at last ! Genuinely squirrel proof . The sprung perch reacts perfectly when a heavier weight pushes it down . Straight back up so the smaller birds have perfect access to the seed . Also takes a great amount of seed meaning less time spent refilling . Confidence that the birds will have a ready supply of seed .

I like that the fact that the little birds can feed and it’s squirrel and rat proof! What I don’t like is that’s it’s too big. Overall very pleased with it

I was worried by some reviews but thought I'd try this one.
I've had no issues with it so far and the squirrels have not yet managed to feed from it. I cut away any strong branches around the feeder, making it harder for the squirrels to hang off it. It holds a lot of sunflower hearts, so I'm not refilling every two minutes.

Excellent product, keeps the seeds dry

Just added this to my Roamwild collection of bird feeders. Complements my others for when I’m away on holiday. Don’t want my birds going hungry. Used to have a squirrel problem, not any longer. Squirrels still come but just for the exercise, they soon give up but do mop up the ground area.

Good product, well made, easy to assemble, we have 3 Squirrels which visit regularly, I've had to change most of our feeders as they gnaw through the plastic and they have managed to gnaw though the wire on some of the other feeders which is becoming a costly exercise to replace feeders, hopefully they will not be able stay on this feeder.
